How You Can Help

MET’s work is funded entirely by grants and donations, and all contributions make a real difference to what we can achieve with our UK and international programmes.

Making a Donation
There are a number of ways you can make a donation to help fund MET’s work:

Standing Order
Regular payments help us to plan our budgets and also reduce the time, and cost, of administration.  Please download a gift form and return it to us to set up a standing order.

Single Gift
One off donations are also gratefully received, and can be made by cheque.  Again, please download a gift form to accompany your cheque.

If you have internet banking and would like to use this facility to set up a standing order or make single payment, the gift form contains all the details you need.

We can also accept credit and debit card payments over the internet, although we do have to pay a small fee on all donations made using this method.   Please click on the 'Donate' button (left) to be taken to a secure service provided by PayPal.

Gift Aid

Anyone who pays UK income tax can Gift Aid their donation, whether it is a regular contribution or single payment.  The Gift Aid scheme allows MET to reclaim the tax on your donation from the Government, and so increases the support we receive.  You must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the tax that we will reclaim on your donations in the appropriate tax year (currently 28p for each £1 you give).

If you are a UK tax payer, please download a gift form so that your donation can be treated as Gift Aid.
